Do you need a Pa. state license to fish at Paradise Lakes? No. You do not need a Pa. fishing license to fish at Paradise Lakes.
What is the cost for a ticket and how long does it last? Our tickets are $13.00 for adults, $11.00 for 8-14 yrs old and senior citizens. 7 and under are free with a paying parent or grandparent. One tag is included except for the 7 and under it will be $2.00. The pass is good for 12 hours unless otherwise specified.
What are the values on your tag fish? The tags run from $25.00 all the way to $500.00. We also put kitty fish in, which if caught are worth a percentage of the pot. We also have match weights that can be worth $1000.00
Am I included on tags and bonus money with my price of admission? You are included on cat and trout tags or carp tags with your price of admission. If you want to fish all three it will be $2.00 more. Any bonus money we give away you are automatically eligible for, but only for the tags you signed up for.
Can I build a fire? Fires are not allowed at Paradise Lakes because of past instances of people burning things they should not. You are allowed to bring propane heaters and grills that burn propane or charcoal.
What are your hours? This depends on the time of year. It is best to call or check on our website www.paradiselakes.net
Are pets allowed? No. This is due to owners not cleaning up after them and also for the large number of kids that fish at Paradise Lakes. Thank-you
Can I buy bait if I am not fishing there? ABSOLUTELY. We are well stocked with bait, tackle and snacks.
Do you have indoor restrooms? Yes. We have clean indoor restrooms and we also have several port-a-johns around the lake.
Is there good access to each lake? Yes. We have really good access to each lake.
Do you allow ice fishing in the winter? Yes. If the ice is 3 inches or thicker.
What kind of fish do you stock? We stock trout from January thru May and they are up to 30 inches long. The catfish are stocked from April thru September and they are up tp 65 pounds. The carp are stocked once or more a year and they usually come in March or April and they are up to 45 pounds.
What is your limit on catfish and trout? You can keep 8 channel cats under 8 pounds and 5 trout per ticket. Catch and release is ok as long as you handle the fish correctly.
Do I need a net? Absolutely. It is a rule that you must carry your fish to the scale in a net. Not doing so will result in your fish being disqualified. Carrying these fish in a net keeps them healthy and you should be netting all your fish not just the ones you bring to be measured or weighed!!!
Can I keep any of your giant catfish? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Any shovelhead or blue has to be returned to the lake. Any channel cat 8 pounds or over must also be released. We prosecute fully anyone trying to keep our giant cats!!!!
Can I keep any size trout if I catch one? Yes. It is ok to keep any size trout toward your limit.
What age are you considered eligible for a senior pass? 62 and older is eligible for a senior pass.
