Catfish Page
The catfish limit per ticket is 8 channel catfish under 8 pound.  All channels 8 pound or bigger and any size shovelhead or blue channel of any size must be released.  It is ok to weigh these fish for our contests but they must be netted and carried to the scale in your net or any other carrying device that is permitted by the person in the bait shop.  All fish carried without a net are not eligible for the contests and will be disqualified and if the fish dies you are responsible for the full price of the fish. 
So please bring your net!!!
You cannot use any live shad as Bait!!
We start stocking catfish in April and we continue to stock cats until Labor Day Weekend.  The cats range from 1 pound up to 65 pounds in weight.  Last year we stocked close to 30,000 pounds of catfish!!!
